Useless Loop Primary School is a unique remote school situated in a small, scenic mining town approximately 850 km from Perth and 450 km from Geraldton. The school caters to students from Kindergarten through to Year 6, serving the children of employees working at Shark Bay Resources.

Useless Loop Primary School benefits from being a small school with enrolments rnading between 15 and 25 students, allowing for an individualised approach to learning where each student is supported holistically. The curriculum is delivered through two classrooms: Early Childhood (K-2) and Primary (3-6), with additional lessons through the School of Isolated and Distance Education (SIDE).
